Truly happy people in an inspiring work environment
Our employees are our main asset: they are also what makes A.S.Adventure so successful. As a result, we’re investing in the wellbeing of our colleagues and awareness of this topic. This is not just an empty promise: WE CARE
is the perfect example that we mean business! Through this programme, we want to create long-term growth for our colleagues. Together, we can put our human organisation on the map to face the future.
In concrete terms, we are doing so by working around four themes that are mutually interlinked:
We then translate these four pillars into a range of actions. Below you can find a brief selection of examples:
● River Cleanup: our team rolled up its sleeves, together with our partner River Cleanup , to fish the plastic out of the Hoboken polder. It was good for team spirit and the environment.
● Celebrate successes because ‘play hard’ should come right after ‘work hard’. This has a motivating effect and simply makes you enjoy your work more.
● Boot camp sessions during the lunch break.
● Strategic, inspirational sessions after we all work together on the vision and mission of our organisation. Open and transparent communication and the input of our employees are crucial in this respect.
● Fruit in the workplace as a free, healthy snack.
● Team initiatives such as Ten Miles, Hercules Trophy, camping nights, bowls, etc.
● Inspiring training courses and coaching by our talent manager.
The outcome of these initiatives is Genuinely happy employees in a sustainable, inspiring working environment, in which they can passionately be their best selves and receiveincentives to pursue creativity and self-development. In other words, we’re striving towards happy, healthy, motivated, talented, and informed colleagues. That’s the only way we can keep expanding our horizons together and commit to connection, responsibility, wellbeing, trust, and accessibility as a conscious organisation. After all, we can only go further if we’re #tousensemble
The P.E.R.F.E.C.T. competency model has grown from the management and our employees. It represents the values that are central to our organisation. From passion to teamwork, these seven values enrich and protect our unique culture.
Everything starts with passion.
Working with someone who has passion is just lovely. For example, you feel more involved in your own duties.
You invest energy in the work, but you also get energy out of it and, ideally, transfer it to others.
Being discreet and adhering to agreements, such as being on time and showing respect for colleagues and materials.
The world is constantly changing (e.g. the evolution of omnichannel): you accept change and bring others along with you.
Eager to learn; creative and constructive in thinking about new initiatives and improvements.
Communicate well and clearly, and listen actively.
A football striker can only score thanks to a good pass, and then defend their fellow teammates to the maximum.
