What can I rent and what are the rental prices?

Can I make an online reservation?
Not currently. You can go online to make a reservation in a rental store. This will ensure one of our product specialists is available to provide you with all the necessary support. Or you can just pop into one of our rental stores.
When do I pay?
You pay an advance when you book your equipment in the rental store. You then pay the balance and deposit when you come to pick up your equipment. Are you paying with a credit card? This can also be used for the deposit with an authorisation. If everything is in order when you return the items, the deposit will be returned.
Do I have to pay a deposit when renting?
Yes. When you return the rented equipment, we will check the gear together. If the equipment is in the same condition as you received it (dry and clean), we will return the deposit. If the equipment is dirty, damaged or broken, you will either get part or none of the deposit back. But we expect you will want to return the equipment in good order, so of course you will get your deposit back.
How does the rental work in practice?
- Make an appointment at one of our rental stores to book your desired equipment. Or just pop into a rental store. Once you have made up your mind, all you have to do is sign the rental agreement and pay the advance. We will hold your chosen equipment for you.
- A few days before your adventure, you will receive an e-mail letting you know your equipment is ready.
- Pick up your equipment at the rental shop and pay the balance owed and the deposit. Your adventure can then begin.
- Return your equipment to the rental shop in time. Please ensure you return it dry and in good condition so the next person can enjoy it as much as you.
- We will check the equipment together. If the product is in the same condition as when you rented it, you get your deposit back in full.
- Our team will carefully check the equipment again afterwards (and take care of any cleaning, if necessary). This will make sure it is ready for the next person.

How long before my departure do I have to reserve equipment?
The earlier the better. This will ensure you are not limited in choice when finding the right equipment for your outdoor experience. What if you have decided last minute that you need something? Feel free to call one of our rental stores; who knows, maybe the equipment you want is still available.
Until when does the rental season run?
For the time being you can rent your equipment until mid-October. After that the equipment will stay in our warehouse for the winter, after an extra thorough maintenance.
I would like to rent for one day. Do I have to pick up and return my rented equipment on the same day?
Yes. This will ensure the customer after you can pick up the equipment on time. The price for one day or two days is the same. So maybe give yourself two days rental.
How do I use my rented equipment?
The manual and instructional videos for the equipment can be found on the online equipment pages. But you can also ask one of our employees for tips when you pick up your equipment. This means you can go out with peace of mind.
Can I pay the rental rate with an A.S.Adventure gift voucher?
Yes, you can. This is a handy way to use up any remaining amount on your gift voucher. A partial payment is therefore also possible. You will then have to match the remaining amount with another payment method.
Can I pay for the rental with eco-vouchers?
Absolutely. Our rental service is a sustainable initiative. By paying with eco-vouchers, you complete the circle.
If I enjoy using the rented equipment, can I buy it at a discount?
Not currently but keep an eye on our promotions.
Why should I rent from A.S.Adventure?
As outdoor enthusiasts, our mission is to protect nature. This is why A.S.Adventure is committed to a circular sharing economy. Not only with responsible offers (the impact of each product is as small as possible), but also by making our company more sustainable.
If you rent equipment from A.S.Adventure instead of buying it, it will be used by several people together. The result: less raw materials and energy are used.
Why rent and not buy?
Save storage space at home; you often need this equipment just once a year.
Do you intend to use equipment more often but still have doubts? Renting is ideal if you are trying something for the first time or want to test it out. Finally, renting is a way to contribute to the sharing economy.
When will my rental equipment be available?
You will receive an e-mail as soon as your equipment is available to be picked up at your rental shop.
When should I return my rental equipment?
Please return your equipment no later than the date stated on your rental agreement. This is very important because the next person wants to enjoy the equipment as well.
Can I return or collect the equipment after opening hours?
Not currently, so be sure to check the opening hours.
Can I bring the equipment to a different rental store than the one I picked it up from?
Not currently. Please return the rented equipment to the rental store from where you picked it up.
Can you deliver the rental equipment?
We currently do not offer a delivery service for rented equipment.
