The glittering eyes and wide smile of a child when they open a gift: that's what you do it for, right? And the present doesn’t have to be all that big either. All they really need is a chance to romp around  or disappear into their colourful fantasy world. Let them paint their own dino or unicorn, or teach them all about birds using their own pair of binoculars. Another option: keep it practical but fun and give them a cheerful bike helmet or a trendy fluorescent jacket so they always arrive safely at their destination.
