Brand with a mission
Ayacucho doesn't just want you to feel good during your time outdoors, but also about the impact of your purchase. And yes, the impact is absolutely there: Ayacucho is a proud member of 1% for the Planet, which means 1% of its annual turnover goes to initiatives that support the environment and social wellbeing.
More specifically, that support goes to Solid, a Belgian development organisation setting up projects in Peru, Kenya, and India. They create fair employment opportunities and social progress for vulnerable families there.
Some of Ayacucho’s hats and scarves, for example, are made by women in the Peruvian region the brand is named after. And in 2025, Solid received the 1% for the Planet certificate themselves. This is how we protect our planet together – today and for future generations.
