ARTICLE 1: Trade-in item
Retail Concepts N.V. offers a customer-seller the opportunity to sell their quality second-hand item(s) in exchange for an A.S.Adventure voucher. The client-seller receives the amount of the buy-back in the form of an A.S.Adventure voucher (based on predetermined rates - available at https://www.asadventure.com/en/asa/tweedehands.html )
The voucher's purchase credit is active as soon as it is issued and will be automatically added to the selling customer's Explore More account. The customer will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail of the trade-in.
The voucher is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
The voucher can be used in all A.S.Adventure shops in Belgium and Luxembourg when purchasing a new item - or a second-hand item in participating stores.
The voucher will automatically appear in your online basket and can be used at:
Under no circumstances can the voucher be refunded, even partially, or exchanged in case of loss or theft or expiry. The voucher is not valid for the purchase of A.S. Adventure gift cards. If a purchase amount is less than the voucher value, the remaining amount will remain in your account (to be used within the original one-year period). The voucher can be used across multiple purchases. The value can be tracked online via your account, under 'my vouchers'.
ARTICLE 2: Trade-in conditions
Which items can be handed in to Retail Concepts N.V., which items do we accept?
Retail Concepts N.V. only accepts second-hand clothing and equipment that is still in perfect or (very) good condition and clean. The specific items and brands accepted can be found in Article 3. A maximum of 10 items per day may be submitted per Explore-More account.
The following will not be accepted:
• Items showing signs of wear such as stains, holes/tears, or odours
• Personalised items (sponsor printing, name on product label ...)
• Items with faded colour
• Items with loose seams
• Items with loose or missing buttons
• Items with broken zips
• Unwashed items
• Textiles with pilling (e.g. on wool or fleece garments)
Items must always contain the original inner labels (e.g. care instructions, brand tag, etc.).

ARTICLE 4: Ownership transfer conditions
Retail Concepts N.V. reserves the right to refuse the acquisition of items that do not meet its requirements, in accordance with the general conditions outlined in Article 2.
Retail Concepts N.V. may refuse the trade-in of second-hand items for hygiene or safety reasons. All items acquired in a manner contrary to the legislation are prohibited. If the items conform to the predetermined criteria (see Article 2), ownership is transferred to Retail Concepts N.V. The customer acknowledges having accepted the general trade-in terms and is aware that the trade-in of their item(s) constitutes a legal transfer of ownership to Retail Concepts N.V., with all ensuing consequences.
This agreement authorises Retail Concepts N.V. to resell the acquired items.
ARTICLE 5: Trade-in procedure
When the items are brought to the store, a staff member will assess them according to predetermined quality standards and based on the general trade-in terms. The assistant may:
• Refuse the item if it does not meet our required quality criteria (see article 2) and return it to the customer.
• Recommend placing the item in our textile donation box.
Of course, the second-hand item submitted must comply with the general acquisition conditions. See Article2.

All second-hand items come with a 2-year warranty.
