In 1977 stichtte Jake Burton Carpenter Burton Snowboards in een schuur in Vermont, USA. Vanaf dat moment heeft Burton steeds nieuwe impulsen aan de snowboardsport gegeven door zijn innovatieve collecties, zijn team van topsnowboarders en zijn rol als grondlegger om de sport overal geaccepteerd te laten worden. In 1996 werd de focus van Burton nog uitgebreid naar andere boardsporten en boardkleding.

Degelijke kwaliteit

praktisch en warm
- Het zijn grote, waterdichte handschoenen met een ritsje voor als je te warme handen zou krijgen. De handschoenen zelf hebben een zachte voering. Ze worden geleverd met dunne handschoenen. De grote grijze handschoenen kun je uitdoen, zonder dat de zwarte handschoenen mee naar buiten glippen. Of je kunt beide lagen in 1 x uitdoen, aan jou de keuze. Wat ik vooral fijn vind, is dat je je grote handschoenen kunt uitdoen om een rits los te maken, veters te knopen of sleutels te pakken zonder dat je meteen ijskoude handen gaat krijgen. Bovendien zijn de zwarte 'binnenhandschoenen' alsook de grote grijze handschoenen geschikt om een smsje te sturen op je smartphone, of je gsm te ontgrendelen. Dit is wat ik in gedachten had toen ik op zoek ging naar mijn droomhandschoenen.
