5 must do’s in Ibiza

1.     Strolling in Ibiza City. Let the little streets of Dalt Villa seduce you. The historical center of the city, with its picturesque white houses and 16th century cathedral, offers a lovely view over the city and the sea.

2.     Have lunch in La Paloma. Feel like having lunch in between the citrus trees? A soba noodles salad, hummus with lamb or fresh bio juice from the local garden: this is the place to be for health-conscious foodies. Make your reservations!

3.     A boat trip to Formentera. Primordial nature and pristine beaches are the main ingredients of the 32 ‘Rutas Verdas’ on the neighbouring isle of Formentera. An ideal spot for an unwinding hike of bike ride.

4.     Have dinner in Terra Masia Ibiza. At the largest bio farm of the isle you can enjoy lots of locally grown treats. Indulge in a delicious ‘farm to table’-dinner served on wooden tables, filled with candles and atmospheric lanterns.

5.     See the sun go down on Experimental Beach. Grab a cocktail, lie down on a top-shelf lounge chair or on one of the cushioned seats on the terrace: you can’t wish for a better setting to finish an unforgettable day!

La Isla Bonita

The most north-western island of the Canary Islands, La Palma is the third smallest of the seven official islas that make up the Spanish archipelago. And it’s also the most surprising. With its abundance of dense pine forests, natural parks, dizzying craters, black beaches, imposing volcanoes, pastel-coloured villages, and more than 1,000 kilometres of hiking trails, the ‘Beautiful Island’ came by its nickname naturally. Moreover, La Palma is one of the least tourism-exploited islands of the Canarias, a place where slow living is allowed. The capital, Santa Cruz de la Palma, also proves this with its sleepy charm.

Like the other Canary Islands, La Palma is a volcanic island, which means it has a very distinct geography with major differences in level, making it the perfect location for outdoor sports such as hiking, paragliding, and mountain biking. For example, the landscape dives from the Roque de los Muchachos at an altitude of 2,423 metres to the deepest point on the island, some four kilometres below sea level. With the Roque, La Palma also has the second highest mountain in the Canary Islands, meaning you won’t get any closer to the island’s world-famous starry sky than this.
