The CAC is the third iteration of the “field knife" that Tarrerias-Bonjean designs and manufactures for the French army. Uncompromising design, light weight and robustness make the CAC an exceptional knife. Much more technical and ambitious than its predecessors, the CAC is the answer of Tarrerias-Bonjean to the request of French Army, that is, designing a robust and full ambidextrous knife, with fast and one hand opening/closing.
To create this exceptional knife, Tarrerias-Bonjean collaborated with Philippe PEROTTI, former special forces officer and expert in the handling of firearms and knives.
His recognized experience has maximized the efficiency of using the knife to make the CAC the ideal companion of our troops in all operations fields.
Tarrerias-Bonjean also wanted to collaborate with the American leader Benchmade to integrate to the CAC a secure blade locking by movable axis. This mechanism is extremely strong and ensures a flawless blade lock in the open position. The CAC was officially selected by the French army in 2016 against many competitors for its performance, quality and price. It will equip our soldiers in different French army corps from 2018.
Extremly resistant to corrosion, the CAC features a strong blade with partial serrations, a glass breaker, a corkscrew (so French !), a belt cutter, a reversible belt clip. The CAC brings together all the advanced technologies that can be awaited on an operational knife.
