Product information

Our waterproof/breathable Quandary Jacket is for all of the optimistic bike and skateboard commuters we know who start out the day in fine weather and finish in a wind-driven, kick-ass torrent. The Quandary’s stretchy H2No™ Performance Standard 2-layer shell is made with a strong yet lightweight and quick-drying fabric blend of 95% nylon (65% recycled) and 5% spandex with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish for increased weather resistance and durability. A smooth 100% polyester tricot mesh lining wicks moisture and glides easily over layers. The two-way-adjustable hood is designed to provide exceptional coverage and visibility while articulated sleeves allow the full range of shoulder and arm motion. The waterproof center-front zipper tucks away in a zipper-garage, and soft microfleece at the collar helps to protect sensitive skin. A dual-adjust drawcord hem keeps your heat inside and the cold outside. To keep you organized, the Quandary has a left-chest pocket that secures with a polyurethane-coated, waterproof zipper; two side-entry zippered handwarmers and an internal zippered security pocket. It’s also Fair Trade Certified™ sewn, which means the people who made it earned a premium for their labor. Hip length.

Washing waterproof garments

Always review the jacket labels before washing for specific washing instructions. We recommend that you wash your waterproof jacket with a technical detergent on a regular basis. This prevents damage to the waterproof layer. Rise it out well so that there are no soap residues. Never use fabric softener.

Impregnating waterproof garments

When you impregnate your jacket, it is a good idea to put it in the dryer after washing it. This reactivates the water repellent layer on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your garment will absorb moisture. The jacket will become heavy and feel cold and clammy. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
