Hood stows in jacket collar
2 hand pockets, inner pocket
Simple, functional and totally reliable. This is one of the lightest shell jackets in our collection. And although the fabric has a pleasantly soft feel it's also super robust - a great combination if you like to spend a lot of time outdoors. Add in the legendary waterproof and breathable performance of our Texapore fabric technology and you have a jacket you can rely on to protect you from the weather. We've used an extra robust version of Texapore for the STORMY POINT, so when you're out there in the wild country you won't have to worry about your jacket. The fabric is also relatively light, which improves the wear comfort significantly when you're on the move all day. And when the rain stops but the wind is still blowing you can stow the hood in the jacket collar so it doesn't flap around.

Washing waterproof garments
Always review the jacket labels before washing for specific washing instructions. We recommend that you wash your waterproof jacket with a technical detergent on a regular basis. This prevents damage to the waterproof layer. Rise it out well so that there are no soap residues. Never use fabric softener.
Impregnating waterproof garments
When you impregnate your jacket, it is a good idea to put it in the dryer after washing it. This reactivates the water repellent layer on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your garment will absorb moisture. The jacket will become heavy and feel cold and clammy. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
