Mood: A brief escape into nature, on your own or with your family. This winter, every day is a mini adventure.
Styling: Outdoor looks with an urban vibe for winter adventures in the city, in the woods, or – why not – a winter barbecue right in your own garden.
Location: Veslebu, a rust-coloured wooden cabin in Norway, right at the start of the trail to unforgettable Preikestolen cliff, is an oasis of peace on the banks of Lake Refsa.
Welcome to Les Cabanes de Rensiwez
Nothing beats relaxing by the fire after a long winter hike, and we’ve found the perfect place to do exactly that: Les Cabanes de Rensiwez. The vast Moulin de Rensiwez estate, which acts as the setting for around twenty wooden cabins, stretches from a hilltop down to the banks of the River Ourthe at the heart of the forest between La Roche-en-Ardenne and Houffalize. You can rest your head in one of the different cabins: they may be small, but they’re super cosy, with lots of wood – one of them even has a tree sprouting up right in the middle of the floor – and all of them have a kitchenette where you can conjure up a hearty meal. If a (romantic) weekend away for two is just what you wanted, there’s no need to look any further: there’s no Wi-Fi here, so you can spend plenty of quality time with your partner!
